Girls Cadet/Junior Nationals (Fargo) Qualifications Process:
Any girl who wrestles at the North Paulding Qualifier on April 23rd, Freestyle/Greco state tournament on May 7th OR the Girls Freestyle Nationals/World Team Trials on that same weekend is automatically qualified to attend Fargo. Girls do not have to wrestle the same weight they will at Fargo.
Boys Cadet/Junior Nationals (Fargo) Qualification Process:
Each state is limited to 4 wrestlers, per weight class, per style (i.e. someone may qualify in Greco, but not freestyle). However, anyone who is an automatic qualifier does not count against our 4 spots (example, if an auto qualifier wins the Fargo Qualifier, the next 4 below will qualify). Auto qualifiers include:

Team Georgia will hold TWO opportunities to qualify.
You must wrestle the same weight at the Fargo Qualifier or Freestyle/Greco State as you do at Fargo. These tournaments will have a +3lb allowance.
North Paulding High School April 23rd Qualifier
Prior to registration closing, we will identify all auto-qualifiers. We will post this list on the Team Georgia website front page no later than April 17th. www.teamgeorgiawrestling.com. This will determine what places will qualify for Fargo. The top 4 place winners in each style and weight (not including an auto-qualifier) will qualify for Fargo. (For example, if an auto-qualifier places 2nd. The 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th place wrestler will make the team).
Once qualified, to secure your spot, either proof of your flight being booked OR an initial deposit of $350 is due by 5/1/22.* If not done by the deadline, your spot will be forfeited and will be available to qualify for at the Freestyle/Greco State Tournament. See payment instructions below.
*Note: Proof of flight is a new step in the process as of 4/19/22. Team Georgia is no longer able to purchase flights in bulk. Proof of flight can be provided at:
Freestyle/Greco State May 7th, Troup County High School
When registering, you will see a pop up notice announcing how many spots in each weight class/style are still eligible to qualify for Fargo. Some weight classes may be locked up, so do not wait until state. We will account for both auto-qualifiers and those who qualified at the Fargo qualifier on April 23rd. Example: Junior Freestyle 126 may include 1 auto-qualifier and 2 wrestlers who qualified on April 23rd. This means 2 spots are still available for Freestyle. Junior Greco 126 may include no auto-qualifiers and 3 wrestlers who have qualified on April 23rd. This means 1 spot is still available for Greco. We will take the highest placers not including those who have already qualified.
***A table will be set up at both tournaments for you to indicate your commitment for the trip and pay your deposit.***
After state, for any new qualifiers there will be an initial deposit of $350 OR proof of your flight being booked due by 5/15/2022. Failure to pay this deposit will forfeit the spot and the next highest placer at state will get the opportunity to go. Deposit can be paid via the paypal link provided below. Each wrestler qualifying will receive an email (sent to the registration email) with payment instructions.
Southeast Regionals May 13-14 - Last Chance qualifier
Since SE Regionals is after state, this will provide additional ways to qualify. Either you can place top 6 and qualify yourself. OR someone else can place top 6 and that will open up a spot for the state because it adds to our auto-qualifiers. Placement must be in the same age, style and weight as you will go at Fargo. If wrestler qualifies at Southeast Regionals, an initial deposit of $350 OR proof of your flight being booked will be due by May 17th, 2021 by following the payment instructions below.
$700 total cost + Must purchase flights individually
Pricing Includes: Tournament Registration, Local Transportation, Fargo Camp, Coaching, Hotel Accommodations (with AC), 24 meals, Gear Package (2 singlets, shorts, jacket, 4 shirts, gear bag, socks and joggers)
**Many wrestlers find sponsors or do fundraisers to raise money for the trip. Team Georgia is currently seeking partnerships for wrestlers to raise funds.**

Accommodations in Fargo:
All athletes MUST stay in the team Georgia hotel and with the team at all times. Parents will need to arrange all lodging, transportation and meals if traveling to Fargo to watch their wrestler. Parents will not be allowed in wrestler’s room at any time.

Waivers and Documents Needed by May 8th unless qualifying at Southeast Regionals. Regional qualifiers have until May 17th to enter information.
All waivers must be signed and uploaded along with copies of wrestler’s insurance card and birth certificate.

Uniform Package Information:
Fargo Only Athletes will need to supply team gear sizes no later than
May 8th, 2022. Uniform Pkg includes gear bag, 2 singlets, 4 shirts, shorts, joggers, 2 socks, jacket. Link listed above. Southeast Regional qualifiers will need to enter sizes and upload information no later than May 17th to be guaranteed a uniform package. Note: Uniform package is required.
FARGO TRAINING CAMP:
This camp is for Fargo wrestlers only. Camp is mandatory for all Fargo wrestlers.
