Georgia has approximately 200 clubs located across the state. Most clubs are feeder programs for local high school. The clubs are usually run by parent volunteers under the guidance of the High School Wrestling Program. Other clubs can be sponsored by a local Parks & Recreation Club. These programs are usually operated from September thru March. Many Clubs also offer an Olympic Season in April-July.
In addition to these clubs there are about a dozen Paid Training Centers. These are gyms that typically run practice 12 months of the year and have Annual or seasonal memberships. These clubs have paid staff.
A wrestler can join any of the above types of clubs or they can wrestle unattached.
